Ethics: To Be or Not to Be Ethical
This three-part ethics course satisfies the requirement for UMICAD certification and will cover topics that are important to understanding ethical responsibilities of counselors. In Part 1, participants will gain information about the field and the UMICAD Code of Conduct. In Part 2, participants will be provided information covering the Minnesota Certification Board Code and the National Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors, as well as, information about MN Rules & Statutes and the MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy. In Part 3, participants will investigate the Values of the Helping Profession, Counselor Self-awareness and Cultural Awareness within the Native community.
